Question: Have you handled traumatic brain injury cases?
Jeffrey B. Miller: I have. Medicine and the effects of good and bad medicine are very interesting to me so I’ve taken cases that provided a challenge and the opportunity to work with neurologists and other doctors in the field. We’ve seen brain injury cases resulting from accidents where the brain has suffered trauma. We have also seen brain injury cases resulting possibly medical practice where the brain has been deprived of oxygen for some reason related to a surgery or a condition that should have been remedied. Those are very serious cases, the damages are catastrophic, they take a substantial amount of time to resolve typically and they require you being willing to hang in there for the entire course of the project and try the case if necessary.
