Question: Do you teach outside of your law practice?
Jeffrey B. Miller: I do teach. I teach CLE courses, continuing legal education courses, to other lawyers on a variety of topics. For many years, I’ve done trucking litigation continuing education. It’s been an area where I’ve had a lot of cases over the years. It’s highly regulatory and I’ve enjoyed teaching that area to newer lawyers. I’ve taught paralegals in the community college system.
And more recently my partner Gabe Kory and I are Assistant Professors of Practice at the University of Arizona Medical School where we teach doctors going through medical school about medical neglect and abuse so that they see some of the real world things that happen. We have been very privileged to do that and we enjoy teaching the medical students.
